I've never read a Web Log on its first day, so I have no idea what you are supposed to post up when you start. I suppose I should write out something clever or inspiring about the reason I started this up. Sadly, this is not to be since I have no real reason for doing this other than to put my voice out in the blogshpere. This Blog will primarily be oriented towards politics and current events in North Carolina. I am hoping to in some way immitate the acheivements of sites like Dailykos and Tacitus at the state level.

Clearly I have a lot of work to do. I'm going to start by working on my blogroll. Until I get my feet wet I will mostly be doing news summaries. Any tips or advice would be appreciated.
